Search of all models can be done by using one or combining up to 14 specific firearms, air guns and ammo search criteria like: barrel length, caliber, barrel type, slide finish, frame finish, frame material, stock type, stock material, etc.

5. Why does the Firearms Multimedia Guide DVD not require installation when I insert it in my computer?

Firearms Multimedia Guide does not require installation and starts automatically when inserted in your computer DVD drive because it works directly from the DVD disc. If you save some of your search results, they will be saved in the directory C:/firearms on your computer.

 

6. How can I be sure that the Firearms Multimedia Guide will work on my computer?

The only two things that you need to use the Firearms Multimedia Guide is a computer with Windows and a DVD drive. If your computer works with Windows, the Firearms Multimedia Guide will work on your computer.

 

7. Can I sort my search results?

Search results can be sorted by five criteria: by model name, by manufacturer, by price, by caliber and by barrel length. Choose the one that is the most important for you.

 

8. When I zoom in pictures, they are too big for my screen. How can I see them?

Pictures in the Firearms Multimedia Guide are high-resolution pictures. They are big in order for you to see the smallest details of the guns. On the main screen of the Firearms Multimedia Guide all pictures are sized to fit your screen. When you zoom in on a picture, click and hold the left mouse button and scroll it left and right or up and down to see every detail of the picture. Right click your mouse to exit the zoomed mode. 9. I found a gun that I like. Can I print its’ technical specifications?

Yes. The Print It button is on the right side of the screen. Click on it and a picture of that gun, a complete list of technical specifications, the price and features will be printed.

 

10. I found many models of guns that I like. Can I save them for later?

Yes. On the right side of the screen is an “Add to my favorites” button. Click on it and the model that you were viewing will be saved for viewing later. To view it again you won’t have to search for it, just click on the “Show my favorites” button. To delete a model from favorites just click on the “Remove” button.

 

11. I am not very computer savvy. Will I have problems installing and using the Firearms Multimedia Guide?

There is not software to install, just insert the DVD into your DVD drive and it will start automatically. You’re ready to go! Navigating and searching is extremely simple – just click on what you want to see. If you want to search pistols click on the Hanguns button. It is that simple.

 

12. Why is gauge a search criteria in rifles?

Gauge is a search criteria only for combination guns and drillings because those rifles have a shotgun barrel next to a rifle barrel or barrels. For example, if you are searching for such a gun, you can choose gauge and you will get a list of all the rifles with a shotgun barrel in that gauge and rifle barrel in all available calibers. Or you can choose caliber and you will get a list of all rifles with the rifle barrel in that caliber and the shotgun barrel in all gauges available. Or you can choose a specific caliber and gauge and get a list of all rifles with barrels in that caliber and gauge.

 

13. I am a fan of antique pre-civil war guns. Do you present them?

Yes. We are presenting a large number of the oldest replica antique black powder firearms; pistols, revolvers, rifles and shotguns. Pre and post civil war models are presented. We are also presenting lot of WWII guns.

 

14. I live in Europe. Can you ship the Firearms Multimedia Guide here if I buy it?

Yes. We ship worldwide by air! You will get it within a maximum of 14 days.

 

15. I am under 18 years of age. Can I buy the Firearms Multimedia Guide?

Yes. Firearms Multimedia Guide is a publication on a DVD. There is no age limit restriction for buying the Firearms Multimedia Guide.

 

16. When I put Firearms Multimedia Guide in my computer nothing is happening. Why?

Please, be sure that AutoRun is on in Windows. If AutoRun is turned ON in  Windows, the DVD will start automatically.
